One of the skills I acquired over years of being a science geek I use the most (other than generally retentive habits and math skills) is the ability to create, use and manipulate spreadsheets in various spreadsheet programs. I grew up in the computer era and used MS Excel throughout school for science experiment data.
Although I have expanded my ability to use Open Office as well as Google Documents I still enjoy the use of a well crafted spreadsheet, whether it was made by me or not. I often make my own for personal use and other users share theirs which I am greatful for.
They are a great way to calculate Catalina scenarios, tracking PSP vs Sp vs OOP. Or to keep track of stockpile amounts when its not all out where you can view it. Or your spending throughout the year based on store and PSP vs OOP.
So don’t be afraid to open up that spreadsheet program and look up a tutorial or two. You might be surprised at all the uses you come up with for it.
