Check out this great informative article from The Richmond Times Dispatch. I stumbled across an industry page about the handling of coupon inserts in the newspaper industry. It details how the coupons get to the paper, how they are to be dealt with while there, and how they must be DESTROYED securely if unsold. Which has baffled me when so many people say they get extras easily from their delivery people, etc. Taking extras from the paper boy is like passing counterfeit coupons at your local Rite Aid; if you respect them and your relationship with them you won’t do it and jeopardize their jobs.

there were no coupns in my sunday paper
Sadly there was only one scheduled insert this week, but unless you check before purchase you may get nothing. If, however, you have home delivery a a quick call to your newspaper should get the coupon insert delivered to your doorstep.
