Frugal Friday Christmas Day Dinner
This has been a wonderful holiday season. Lots of companies have given out great discounts, sales and coupons. Let me sum up the feast we have planned:
Feast A:
Hillshire farms/ Carando spiral baked ham ( free with $12 WT)
purple mashed potatoes (under $2 after produce WT)
French’s green bean casserole (maybe $1 after coupons)
Pillsbury crescent rolls (free after coupon/CAT)
homemade Lucky Leaf apple pie and Breyers ice cream (a couple bucks after coupons)
Feast B:
brined Butterball turkey (free with $12 WT)
Stove Top stuffing (free or MM after coupons)
fresh Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce (under $1 after coupons)
sweet potato casserole (under $2 after coupons)
Pillsbury crescent rolls (free after coupon/CAT)
homemade Libby’s pumpkin pie and Breyer’s ice cream with Cool Whip (a couple bucks after coupons)
Feast C:
Stockman & Dakota rib roast
Betty Crocker butter herb mashed potatoes (free after coupon/CAT)
Green Giant green beans almondine (free after coupons)
Pillsbury crescent rolls (free after coupon/CAT)
fresh apple crisp with Granny Smith apples and Breyer’s ice cream (under $2 after coupons)
Not counting any rebates I can submit for under $5 for a feast that can comfortably feed 4-6 people. Which doesn’t account for the cheese/cracker/pickle trays or fudge and cookies we’ve made as well. No scrimping in this house for the holidays.
Now if I could just find a coupon for a free housecleaning, lol. My goal is to get the place spotless and neat for my husband.
