FREE Nivea Body Wash

By mainely  //  Inserts  //  1 Comment

Last week’s paper had a $4 Nivea women’s body wash coupon in it. It was in the Red Plum insert. If you got the coupon you also got the $3 Nivea men’s body wash coupon and if you were lucky you might have got the $1 Nivea lip coupon or $1 Nivea lotion. Yes, unfortunately it was a regional coupon set. The Portsmouth, NH paper I buy had the body wash but not the others. The Boston Globe had them all. It also had the Purina pet food coupons. But on to the FREE body wash.

This week (5/2-5/8) Rite Aid has the women’s body wash advertised for 3.99. Better yet there is a $5/20 from the Video Values you can use. Buy 4 body washes, toss in something a hair over $5 and pay less than a buck. Great way to get those Single Check Rebates done. Also a great way to buy a Mother’s Day gift (its Sunday), diapers, baby food, or anything else not normally on sale.

Walgreens is having a Nivea sale as well. 25% off and Register Rewards when you buy a certain amount. I haven’t checked the price of the women’s or men’s wash on sale but it should work out to a money maker or even break after coupons and Register Rewards.

Target and Walmart both have the women’s body wash for less than $4. You might even get the penny or two extra towards the rest of your purchase.

All this sounds great right? But beware most places are out of stock. Completely. I only found four bottles of body wash last night between 6 stores. And then only because they were behind some Dove body wash. So get rainchecks from Rite Aid. Ask when deliveries are and plan to get there when they are restocking to help your chances of getting what you want. Just remember that if you take everything they get in (if they are silly enough to let you) the customer behind you will be in your shoes just the day before. Share the deal and leave a couple behind….

And don’t buy some from Ebay unless you are desperate. The prices are so jacked up its criminal.

By mainely  //  Drug Stores, Rite Aid  //  No Comments

Align is in two rebate offers this month at Rite Aid.
#15 Align Digestive Care, 28 ct. $10.00 Rebate
#18 Purchase Thirty Dollars ($30.00) Worth of Select: P&G Health Care Brands and receive back by mail a FREE $10.00 Rite Aid Gift Card

Shelf price of Align was 29.99 when I looked. It shows as 28.99 in their online store. 28.99 is advertised week of 3/7-3/13. Maybe we’ll get lucky and it will go on sale the last week or so.

(1) Align 28.99
-(1) $5 Align manu coupon (2/7 P&G insert)
-(1) $5/20 or 5/25 RA VV coupon
18.99 oop, get $10 align SCR, and 28.99 toward P&G

If the Gillette Sating Care double dips as well you can toss that in to finish the P&G. A few scents are on unmarked clearance (avocado is the one I bought for 1.49, get $1 SCR).

Should be free or a moneymaker after both rebates clear. Which is pretty good since this stuff has been $20ish since it came out.

Nature’s Bounty Vitamins & Supplements BOGO

Nature’s Bounty goes on sale but one get one FREE at alot of retailers. Any time a products goes on sale for bogo FREE its a good chance to get it cheap or free by using two coupons while paying for only one item at full price.

This week they are on sale bogo FREE at Rite Aid. Prices range from just over $4 to over $40 for the fancy stuff. Average prices are in the $4-14 range. They also qualify for the Heart Smart rebate that is running over several months at RA (buy $25 get $10, buy $50 get $25). This is the perfect week to get the rebate done for little or no out of pocket expense.

Nature’s Bounty has a rewards program which allows you to enter the information from the bottles to gain points which can be put towards the ability to print out coupons. When you sign up you get access to a $2 coupon immediately.

So what we are going to do is pair the bogo free, $2 coupon (you can print up to 6 by using the back button after printing the first one), and a $/$$ RA coupon (currently available are 3/15, 5/20 and 5/25).

Results may vary as to using more than one similar RA coupon. You may also not be able to use more coupons on the NB than they are worth. You may also be in the Wellness + areas or be able to use their coupons. You may then be able to use the $2 wellness coupon instead of the $1 RA VV coupon. If any of these is the case it may be a bit more oop or you may need to purchase different things.

(4) NB items (4.99 for our math)
(1) Proantinox UTI treatment (6.99)

Lysol No Touch Starter Kit for Under $1 2/14-2/20

By mainely  //  Rite Aid  //  No Comments

Have you seen this hanging around endcaps at your favorite retailer? Wondering how to snag one for under the $10-15 you’ve seen it selling for? Were you lucky enough to get the $3 coupon in your 1/24/2010 RP but didn’t think that was enticing enough.

Worry no more. I’ve got the answer for you. Well Rite Aid does but I’m gonna give you my personal scenario to snag it for under $1 (or slightly over depending on your stores). Even if you can’t use the new Wellness program coupons you will be able to cut the price down 50-75%.

The kit is 12.99 at Rite Aid. This week there is a $5 in-ad coupon for it. We are going to pair this with the 20ct Motrin PM and 36ct Bayer Aspirin and a Vaseline Lotion to use a $5/20.

Lysol kit 12.99
Motrin PM 2.99
Bayer Aspirin 2.49
Vaseline Lotion 2.99
-$5/20
-$5 lysol in-ad
-$3 lysol insert
-$1 motrin insert
-$1 wellness pain
-$1 bayer tearpad
-$2 video value bayer
-$1 vaseline lotion insert
-$2 wellness skin care
total oop: .46 or .97 if they adjust the Bayer $1 down to .49
Plus you will get a $2 SCR on the Motrin and $1 on the Lysol kit.

Wellness is a new program so your store may not let you use these coupons (even if you signed up for a card). If so this would add another $3 back. So then we come to 3.46 or 3.97, which is still a tiny bit less than the 3.99 refill price I’ve seen around.

So get your coupons ready and stock up. At $1 a refill you can’t lose. Plus these things normally come with name brand batteries included.
